Edit Your Profile
Keep your BrightLearn profile up to date so teachers and administrators can reach you and your certificate shows the correct name.
Before you begin
- Log in to BrightLearn.
- Know what you want to change (name, email, or photo).
Step 1 — Open profile settings
- Click your profile picture or name in the top-right corner.
- Click Profile or Account Settings.
- Click Edit Profile.
Step 2 — Update your name
- Click inside the Full name field.
- Delete the old name and type your correct name.
- Use the name you want on your certificates.
Step 3 — Update your email (if needed)
- Click inside the Email field.
- Type your new email address.
- If BrightLearn asks you to verify the new email, check your inbox and click the verification link.
Use an email you check regularly. Payment and enrollment updates may be sent there.
Step 4 — Update your profile picture (optional)
- Click Change photo or Upload picture.
- Choose a photo from your device.
- Wait for the upload to finish.
- Crop or adjust the image if the page offers that option.
Step 5 — Save your changes
- Review all fields.
- Click Save or Update Profile.
- Wait for the confirmation message.
Do not refresh the page while your photo is uploading.
Troubleshooting
Save does not work.
Make sure required fields are filled in and your email format is valid (name@example.com).
I cannot change my email.
Your account may be managed by your school. Contact your teacher or administrator.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will changing my name update old certificates?
Certificates already issued may keep the name from when they were created. New certificates use your current profile name.
