Notifications

BrightLearn can notify you about enrollments, payment status, and course updates. You choose which notifications you receive.

Before you begin

  1. Log in to BrightLearn.
  2. Open your account settings.

Step 1 — Open notifications settings

  1. Click your profile picture or name in the top-right corner.
  2. Click Account Settings or Profile.
  3. Click Notifications.

Step 2 — Review notification options

You may see options such as:

  1. Email notifications — messages sent to your inbox
  2. Enrollment updates — when you are added to a course
  3. Payment status — when your payment is approved or needs attention
  4. Course announcements — messages from your teacher

Step 3 — Turn notifications on or off

  1. Find the notification type you want to change.
  2. Click the toggle switch or check the box to turn it on or off.
  3. Repeat for each type you want to adjust.

We recommend keeping payment status notifications on so you know when your enrollment is approved.

Step 4 — Save your choices

  1. Click Save if the page has a save button.
  2. Some settings save automatically when you toggle them.

Troubleshooting

I am not receiving emails.

  1. Check your spam or junk folder.
  2. Confirm your email address is correct on Edit Profile.
  3. Make sure email notifications are turned on.

I receive too many emails.

Turn off types you do not need, but keep payment and enrollment alerts on.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get notifications on my phone?

If BrightLearn sends email notifications, they appear in your phone’s email app when you have email set up on your device.
