Video Not Playing
If a lesson video will not load or play, try these steps in order.
Before you begin
- Log in to BrightLearn.
- Confirm your course enrollment is Active (not Pending).
- Open the video lesson from Watch videos.
Step 1 — Refresh the page
- Click the Refresh button in your browser.
- Open the lesson again.
- Click Play.
Step 2 — Check your internet
- Pause the video and wait 30 seconds.
- Move closer to Wi‑Fi or switch to mobile data.
- Close other apps or tabs using bandwidth.
Step 3 — Try another browser
- Open BrightLearn in Chrome, Firefox, or Edge.
- Log in and open the same lesson.
- Click Play again.
Step 4 — Disable extensions
- Turn off ad blockers or privacy extensions temporarily.
- Reload the lesson page.
- Try playing the video.
Step 5 — Update your browser
- Install the latest browser update.
- Restart the browser.
- Try the video again.
On mobile, close other apps and rotate to landscape for a better player view.
Step 6 — Contact support
If the video still fails:
- Note the course name and lesson title.
- Tell your teacher or administrator the error message if one appears.
- Try the lesson on another device to see if the problem is device-specific.
