Complete a Course

Completing a course means finishing all required lessons, passing every module quiz, and passing the final exam. You may then receive a certificate.

Before you begin

1. Log in to BrightLearn.
2. Open the course you want to finish.
3. Check Track your progress to see what is left.

Step 1 — Review requirements

1. Open the course lesson list.
2. Identify required items:
   • Video lessons in each module
   • Module quizzes (one per module)
   • Final exam
3. Note any items without a completion checkmark.
4. Check for locked modules — pass the current module quiz to unlock them.

Step 2 — Finish remaining lessons

1. Click each incomplete lesson.
2. Watch videos fully and attend class as required.
3. Pass each module quiz before moving to the next module.

Step 3 — Pass the final exam

1. After all modules are complete, open the Final exam at the end of the course.
2. Answer every question and click Submit.
3. You must pass to finish the course and unlock your certificate.

Step 4 — Confirm 100% progress

1. Return to the course home.
2. Confirm the progress bar shows 100% or Completed.
3. Look for a Congratulations or Course complete message.

Step 5 — Get your certificate

1. If the course offers a certificate, a View certificate link appears.
2. Follow View your certificate.

Troubleshooting

Progress is 100% but no certificate.

1. Confirm you passed the final exam.
2. Confirm all module quizzes are passed.
3. Wait a few minutes and refresh.
4. Contact your teacher if the certificate should be available.

One lesson will not mark complete.

Reopen the lesson and finish every required step (watch to end, submit quiz, etc.).

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I complete the course at my own pace?

Yes, unless your teacher set a deadline. Complete each module in order — pass the module quiz before the next module unlocks.
